Steps for the Insurance Claim Process
Step 1
Property Damage Assessment
RestoreMasters will complete a thorough inspection of your property to identify and document claimable damage on your roof and other areas that may need repair, including windows, doors, siding, decks, and interior & exterior features.
Step 2
File a Claim
Property owner files a claim with the insurance company, after which the company will schedule an insurance adjuster to inspect the damage. RestoreMasters will meet with your adjuster onsite to assist with documentation and cost estimates.
Step 3
Claims Adjustment & Approval
RestoreMasters will provide the insurance company with detailed estimates in the exact format they prefer. Upon approval, they will issue a first check, which you will forward to RestoreMasters along with your deductible payment.
Step 4
Project Work Completed
Permits are secured (if applicable), materials are ordered, work commences, and the project is completed. During construction, RestoreMasters will document any unforeseen damage or repair requirements (supplements) while finishing the project.
Step 5
Supplementals & Final Payment
Supplements were approved, and the final invoice was sent to the insurance company. Your insurance company will issue you a check for the final balance, which you will forward to RestoreMasters.
